In the Ozark highlands of northwest Arkansas on the headwaters of the White River, Prairie Creek Campground is conveniently located near several tourist attractions, including Pea Ridge National Military Park, University of Arkansas and Eureka Springs.
The non-smoking recreational facilities allow pets. Campsites are spacious, allowing up to three tents or an RV and a single tent. Facilities include a dump station, drinking water, showers, picnic shelters and fishing sites. Water is only available through a common hydrant, not at each individual campsite. The campground is conveniently located a short drive from dining, shopping, historic sites and tourist attractions.
Campers can enjoy several activities, including water activities, volleyball, interpretative trails, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, bird watching, scuba diving, picnicking and more. There is a host on site. Check in with the host upon arrival. There is a $4 fee per vehicle with parking available at the campground.

The campground is open through the end of October. Reservations should be made at least two days prior to scheduled arrival. Prairie Creek has 119 campsites, with some being back in and others being pull through design. Electrical hookups are 30 amps.
